Provide First Aid Course

The Provide First Aid course is for group workplace first aid certificates.

Training and assessment delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.

We come to you, onsite.

This course is approved by ACECQA as meeting the requirements for First Aid in most industries.

Is HLTAID011 Online?

Yes most of this course is online pre learning, then you will attend the stated venue for a short 1-2 hour face to face assessment.

Workplace first aid training and assessment delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.

Prices start at $119 per person.

  • Groups of 6-8: $159pp
  • Groups of 9-10: $139pp
  • Groups of 11-15: $129pp
  • Groups of 16-20: $119pp

This course is the HLTAID011 Provide First Aid. This course also includes HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.

This is the certificate that is suitable for those needing their CPR and first aid certificate for work.

Online and in-person.

Participants are required to attend 100% of this first aid training and successfully demonstrate competence in all assessment activities.

Some of this course is online and to be completed before the class. Then you will complete a face to face assessment onsite with one of our trainers.

At your site, unless organised otherwise.

Participants must have the physical capacity to perform the practical demonstrations, such as 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor.

Pre-course study: Students may be required to undertake online pre-course work prior to attending the face to face session depending on the course delivery mode.

Online study: Students must have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet or other electronic devices with access to the internet to complete the online/ pre-course studies.

Our group classes need to be 10 people minimum. There is no maximum amount of people who we can facilitate.

Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.

The following units will be included in your certificate:

  • HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
  • HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • HLTAID010 – Provide basic emergency life support

Three (3) years from the date of issue.

You are required to undertake annual CPR refresher training.

We will keep an eye on your due date for a refresher and send reminders.

Enrolment to this course is made with Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.

Please refer to the student handbook, for details relating to rights and responsibilities, complaints and appeals.

Performance tasks and practical scenarios:

  • Perform CPR on an adult (incl. the use of an AED and placing a casualty into the recovery position)
  • Complete a first aid incident report form based on the simulated first aid scenario
  • Perform CPR on an infant
  • Manage the following:
    • a casualty with anaphylaxis
    • casualty with asthma
    • choking casualty
    • casualty with non-life-threatening bleeding and shock, requiring minor wound cleaning
    • a nosebleed
    • a fracture and dislocation
    • casualty with a sprain and strain
    • envenomation (snake/ funnel-web spider bite)

Theory assessment: A written assessment consisting of multiple-choice questions.
