online-cpr-course

During the COVID-19 pandemic, more and more people were looking for ways to stay safe and healthy. One way that has become increasingly popular is learning how to perform CPR, or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, in case of an emergency situation.

In the past, the only way to learn CPR was to attend an in-person class at a local hospital or community center. But with the rise of online courses and webinars, one might wonder if it’s possible to receive appropriate instruction from an online course instead.

In this blog article, we’ll explore whether or not an online CPR course is valid online and what factors you should consider when deciding on the right option for you.

Is Online CPR Certification Valid

While there are many opinions on the matter, the answer to this question is a resounding yes! Online CPR certification is just as valid as certification from a brick-and-mortar institution. In fact, a lot employers these days are more interested in hiring candidates with online certification because it shows that they are comfortable with technology and willing to learn new things.

So, if you’re thinking about getting your CPR certification online, go for it!  Just make sure you choose a reputable institution like the The First Aid Nest.

It is important to know that there is a short face to face assessment needed after the online learning. This is just 10% of the course so 90% of the course is online.

What Online CPR Certification Is Best

There are many online CPR certification courses available, but not all of them are created equal. Some are more comprehensive than others, and some are more expensive. Here are a few things to consider when choosing an online CPR certification course:

  • Cost: Some online CPR certification courses can be quite expensive. Be sure to compare prices before you decide on a course.
  • Course Length: Some courses are only a few hours long, while others can last for days. Choose a course length that is right for you and your schedule.
  • Accreditation: Make sure the course you choose is accredited by a reputable organization. This will ensure that the course is of high quality and will give you the knowledge and skills you need to perform CPR correctly.

Where To Do a CPR Course

It’s a common question: Can I get certified in CPR online? The answer is yes, but there are a few things you should know about online CPR courses before you sign up.

First, make sure the course is from a reputable source. There are many scammers out there who will try to sell you fake CPR certification. Only take an online course from a trusted provider that is a Registered Training Authority (RTO) or partnered with an RTO.

Second, be aware that not all online CPR courses are created equal. Some will be more comprehensive than others, so make sure you choose one that covers all the topics that you need for your workplace.

Finally, remember that an online CPR course still requires a very short hands-on training. You’ll still need to practice your skills on a mannequin or real person before you’re truly prepared to use them in an emergency situation.

The online course covers everything you need to know about performing CPR correctly, including how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED).

If you’re looking for a valid online CPR course, make sure to choose one that is accredited by a reputable organization. With a little research, you can find an affordable and convenient option that will help you earn your certification quickly and easily.

Online CPR Training For Teachers

CPR training for teachers is an important part of keeping your school safe. Many schools require their teachers to be certified in CPR, and an online course is a great way to get this certification.

One option is to do the online course in a group. You can be assessed on the CPR component together.

Once you have completed your online CPR training, you will be prepared to handle any emergency situation that may occur at your school.

You will know how to properly administer CPR and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). In addition, you will be familiar with the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and stroke, so you can take quick action if one of your students or colleagues experiences these medical emergencies.

Online CPR Certification vs In Person

In order to be valid, CPR certification must be obtained through a registered training authority (RTO), which offers both in-person and online courses.

We recommend that students who have no knowledge or have not undertaken a first aid course before, may be better to take the in-person course so they can receive face to face training from an instructor.

Online courses can be a good way to learn the basics of CPR before taking an in-person course if you choose, although both could be accredited. They can also be a good refresher for people who have already been certified.
