Sometimes the most innovative solutions come from the most challenging circumstances.
When Tammy’s son was diagnosed with severe food allergies and other medical conditions, she found herself facing a problem that millions of parents know all too well: how do you keep life-saving medication accessible, organized, and actually with your child at all times?
She tried everything. Backpacks that were too bulky. Pouches that didn’t fit what she needed. Systems that worked at home but fell apart the moment they left the house. Nothing was designed for the reality of managing multiple medications for an active child.
So she created her own solution.
My Med Pouch was born from Tammy’s lived experience as an allergy mum navigating the daily challenges of keeping her son safe while also letting him be a kid.

The Reality of Managing Paediatric Medical Needs
If you’re parenting a child with food allergies, you know this reality intimately:
The mental checklist that runs constantly in your head: EpiPens? Check. Antihistamine? Check. Emergency plan? Check. Did I pack the backup EpiPen? Wait, where IS the backup EpiPen?
The panic when you realize you left medications in another bag, another room, another location.
The frustration when your child goes to a friend’s house and you’re trying to explain to another parent where everything is and what to do in an emergency.
The anxiety of sending your child to school, daycare, sports practice, birthday parties, anywhere you’re not physically present to manage their safety.
It’s exhausting. And it shouldn’t be this hard.
Tammy understood this on a visceral level because she was living it every single day.
